Yegor Sharangovich signed a two-year, $4 million contract with the New Jersey Devils on Thursday. It has an average annual value of $2 million.
The 23-year-old forward was a restricted free agent.
Sharangovich scored 30 points (16 goals, 14 assists) in 54 games last season, ranking fourth among NHL rookies in goals and points.
Selected by New Jersey in the fifth round (No. 141) of the 2018 NHL Draft, Sharangovich scored three points (two goals, one assist) in seven games for Belarus at the 2021 IIHF World Championship.
The Devils signed defenseman Dougie Hamilton to a seven-year, $63 million contract ($9 million AAV) and goalie Jonathan Bernier to a two-year, $8.25 million contract ($4.125 AAV) on July 28.
