Dylan Larkin will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Friday.

The Detroit Red Wings forward is facing discipline for roughing Tampa Bay Lightning forward Mathieu Joseph

The incident occurred at 11:40 of the second period of the Red Wings’ 7-6 loss at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Thursday. Larkin received a match penalty. Joseph received a minor penalty for roughing.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: roughing. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
