Chandler Stephenson will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Thursday.

The Vegas Golden Knights forward is facing discipline for elbowing/interference on Los Angeles Kings defenseman Tobias Bjornfot.

The incident occurred with 1:52 left in the second period of Vegas’ 4-2 loss at T-Mobile Arena on Wednesday. Stephenson received a major penalty for elbowing and a game misconduct at 18:14. Bjornfot did not play the remainder of the game.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: elbowing/interference. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
