Evander Kane scored 41 seconds into overtime, and the San Jose Sharks ended a three-game losing streak with a 3-2 win against the St. Louis Blues at SAP Center in San Jose on Monday.

Kane took a pass from Erik Karlsson and skated into the zone on a 2-on-1 before snapping a shot past Blues goalie Ville Husso.

Logan Couture and Marc-Edouard Vlasic scored, and Devan Dubnyk made 24 saves for San Jose (9-12-3), which was 0-2-1 in its past three games.

Niko Mikkola scored his first NHL goal, Ryan O’Reilly had two assists and Husso made 17 saves for St. Louis (14-8-4), which completed its six-game road trip 4-0-2.

Vladimir Tarasenko had an assist for the Blues in his second game of the season. He missed the first 24 games after having surgery on his left shoulder for the third time in his NHL career on Sept. 17.

Couture tied it 2-2 at 7:58 of the third period when Ryan Donato‘s stuff attempt redirected off his skate and over Husso’s left pad.

Mikkola gave the Blues a 1-0 lead at 4:16 of the first period when his shot from the left point deflected off Sharks forward Kevin Labanc‘s stick and beat Dubnyk glove side.

Vlasic tied it 1-1 on a shot from the top of the left circle at 7:00 of the second. It was his first goal since Dec. 7, 2019 (62 games).

Brayden Schenn put St. Louis back ahead 2-1 at 19:06. David Perron flubbed a one-timer from the left circle, but Schenn was still able to redirect it under Dubnyk’s glove for a power-play goal.
