Mika Zibanejad scored twice for the New York Rangers in a 6-2 preseason win against the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden in New York on Wednesday.

Sammy Blais had a goal and an assist, and Kaapo Kakko and Barclay Goodrow also scored during a four-goal second period for New York. Ryan Strome and Adam Fox each had two assists, and Igor Shesterkin made 32 saves.

Artemi Panarin made it 6-2 at 11:05 of the third.

Andreas Johnsson and Marian Studenic scored for New Jersey. Jonathan Bernier allowed six goals on 32 shots.

Rangers forward Ryan Reaves left the game in the first period because of a lower-body injury.

Capitals 4, Bruins 3 (OT): Anthony Mantha scored 1:41 into overtime to give the Washington Capitals a 4-3 preseason win against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden in Boston on Wednesday.

Mantha’s first goal of the preseason came when he shot five-hole on Linus Ullmark on a 2-on-1.

Evgeny Kuznetsov had a goal and an assist, T.J. Oshie and Tom Wilson scored, and Alex Ovechkin had two assists for Washington, which is 1-3-1 in the preseason. Vitek Vanecek made 33 saves.

Charlie Coyle had a goal and an assist, and Taylor Hall and David Pastrnak scored for Boston, which is 2-1-3. Ullmark made 26 saves.

Blue Jackets 4, Red Wings 2: Jakub Voracek had a goal and two assists, and the Columbus Blue Jackets scored three times on the power play in a 4-2 preseason win against the Detroit Red Wings at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Wednesday.

Voracek gave the Blue Jackets a 3-2 lead 7:14 into the third period, and Patrik Laine made it 4-2 on the power play at 15:39.

Oliver Bjorkstrand (14:14) and Zach Werenski (17:32) each scored a power-play goal in the first period ti give the Blue Jackets a 2-0 lead.

Riley Barber brought the Red Wings within 2-1 at 1:58 of the third period, and Dan Renouf tied it 2-2 at 6:39.

Elvis Merzlikins made 20 saves for Columbus, and Alex Nedeljkovic made 33 for Detroit.
