LAS VEGAS — Nazem Kadri scored with 41 seconds left in the third period to give the Colorado Avalanche a 3-2 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday.
Kadri scored on a rebound after Marc-Andre Fleury made a save while sitting down.
Nathan MacKinnon and Brandon Saad scored for the Avalanche (8-4-1) in their first win since they had five games postponed due to COVID-19 protocol. Philipp Grubauer made 27 saves.
Max Pacioretty and Jonathan Marchessault scored for the Golden Knights (10-3-1), who defeated Colorado 1-0 here on Sunday. Fleury made 21 saves.
The teams will next play each other in the NHL Outdoors in Lake Tahoe on Saturday.
MacKinnon scored his first goal since Jan. 21 at 7:08 of the first period to give the Avalanche a 1-0 lead.
Pacioretty scored a power-play goal glove side on Grubauer at 16:36 of the second period to tie it 1-1, but Saad scored 63 seconds later when he tucked in a shot five-hole to make it 2-1.
Marchessault tied it 2-2 at 6:52 of the third period on a rebound during a scramble in the crease.
