Faksa fined $5,000 for incident in Stars game

NEW YORK – Dallas Stars forward Radek Faksa has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slashing Ottawa Senators forward Tim St├╝tzle during NHL Game No. 34 in Ottawa on Sunday, Oct. 17, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 18:23 of the second period. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
